It’s that time of year again and we’re gearing up for the Shiawassee County Fair. We’ll have our booth there from August 4th – August 10th, and we need to staff the booth from 10am to 10pm.

Come one, come all, to the Tri-County Plus One Picnic. The Democrats of Clinton, Eaton, Ingham, and Shiawassee Counties will be having a picnic to celebrate our 2014 defeat of Rick Snyder. His replacement Mark Schauer will be in attendance.

Granger Meadows Park in DeWitt Township
Wood Street about a mile north of Eastwood Center and just south of State Road
Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate Mark Schauer will be in attendance.
Attendees are asked for a “donation” of $10-single; $15-couple; $20-family and to bring a dish to pass.
Each county is as to bring: own sign in table, name tags, markers and change. Burgers, hot dogs and buns for own party members. One or two cooks and cooking utensils. Coolers, ice and party banner if they wish to tape to hang. Set up will begin at 4:00 pm Chairs are welcome.

Provided: Tableware, cups, plates, napkins charcoal & lighter fluid, 3 roasters, and pans for meat, condiments, iced tea and lemonade. 50/50raffle split between counties present.
We need help with getting the door hangers distributed throughout the county.
Then, we need to get voters to the polls!
I have challenger cards for those who want to check on the precincts during election day.
Let me know if you are able to collect vote totals at precincts after 8 pm.
Most of all remind family, friends and Democrats how important it is to vote in this election.
Headquarters will be open election day 9 am until all the vote totals are in.

The June County Monthly Meeting will be a Democratic Candidates Potluck Picnic.

Hot dogs, watermelon, beverages and table service will be provided.
Those who are able may bring a passing dish.
