The Michigan Democratic Party will be holding the Endorsement Convention on Saturday, April 17th, at Cobo Hall in Detroit. At this convention, Michigan Democrats will endorse a candidate for Attorney General and Secretary of State.
Attorney General candidates:
David Leyton - Genesee County Prosecutor
Richard Bernstein - Chair - Wayne State Board of Governors
Secretary of State candidates:
Jocelyn Benson - Wayne State University Law Professor
Janice Winfrey - Detroit City Clerk
We are lucky to have such great candidates to choose from.
If you would like to vote in the Endorsement Convention, you must be a member of the Michigan Democratic Party at least 30 days in advance of the event. This deadline is March 19th.
