This just in from the Bob Alexander campaign:
8th District voters are receiving calls from an organization identifying itself variously as “Wilkerson Associates” and “Vanguard” which claims to be conducting a poll. Oddly enough, a call to Mike Rogers campaign headquarters made by one of those “polled” indicated that the calls originated at one of the GOP’s “Victory Centers.”
According to at least three recipients of these calls, the poll asks general questions to establish the recipient’s voting plans, and then moves directly to a “question” which is actually a list of false allegations against Bob Alexander. If you get one of these calls, please record or note the content, ask who they are working for, and then contact Bob Alexander for Congress to let us know what happened by calling 517-367-7400 or emailing info@alexanderforcongress.com.
Evidently the Rogers camp is scared and they have resorted to smear tactics for these last couple of weeks. Not a surprise.
